Texada music video by S.Sims

This island is so inspirational, and I've heard I'm not the first to write a song about it.... But I bet I'm the first to make a music video about our island home!

Never Seen This!! A Music Video!

(Sept.2012)

After meeting and jamming with Jamie's nephew Glenn Nuotio
( Singer, Songwriter, Performer, CBC,  East Coast Fame! )
I was advised to get a bit crazier with my tunes, a bit more unplugged as I understood it.

So I wrote "Never Seen This" an honest relationship-in-my-life song and have fallen completely in love with it. I performed it at the Terry Fox run 2012 on Texada, and then used that footage to make this quirky music video
!

IInstruments of My Destruction animated music video
 by S.Sims

This video took a lot of time and patience. Back in 2006 PC's weren't as fast as they are now, so rendering time was insultingly long.

Some sequences that only last seconds, took weeks of evenings to do. Now I  have respect for all those animators in film CG pipelines!

I Love to Kick S.Sims/Fevertech Sirens Mix

This video is a long story, so I'll keep it short. A fellow musician friend Jim "Fevertech" Wolfenberger decided to remix my original "I Love to Kick" song from my first album "Menage à Trois" and did such a wonderful job, I had to make a music video from that!

All of the weeble people are actually friends from the Sonic Raider chat / music room from '02 to '05. What fun we would have, and our personalities come out in the video.

I still get a chuckle when I watch this ;o)

"Drive" , "60 Cycles per Second" , "Be A Machine"
-video coming soon!

Due to poor 'net here, things are a little slow that way..
"Drive" is my first music video, followed by 60 CPS which really conveys the electrical buzzy feeling of power.
"Be A Machine" has been on-going, but almost done pending the permission of the music writer.

Old Fresh Nelly page intro

A .WMV clip from the early days. This was to go on the main page of freshnelly.com but everyone was still on dial-up back then so had to abort mission.

The Old Light Show!

This was the lights show before LEDs entered the picture. All of the lights on the bar are incandescent and draw tons of power...still there is still something to be said for the warm (sometimes hot!) kelvins of those lights. LED's are much better for color though, as I am discovering.

This system is NOT DMX, but runs through MIDI (Which I think is better!)
