The Always Changing User Manual!

This is a listing of elements for the user manual(s), eventually it will take form and start becoming an rtf or doc or even a pdf.
I have found in the past that menu's, layouts, user interfacing, and even ergonomics can be really messed up if done after, or even mid-way through a project. Duplicate functions, or menu hierarchies built on a redundant function can cause a lot of program modifications or even complete re-writes.

Because I'm only one person, pipelining the project only needs to be what I desire. But even that can change over a period of days, weeks. Will I ever use this function? Is it necessary to branch this from that to make it simpler? How many presets should there be? What layering should the presets have?

After a few days, weeks, I may "pick up" the manual and look at it as if it's a real, and kinda new-to-me product, and right away I can pick out the "cumbersomes" and "Appendixable" stuff. Sometimes it gives me better ideas. As I haven't really found a kindred spirit to bounce ideas off of (I'm always looking if you are!) I can only rely on myself in a different timeframe.

Here's the user manuals completed (in .rtf will open in MS Word or Office) so far:

mySynth II Users manual: A tiny synth module with big amazing sound! mySynth II Page

distPIC Users manual: The craziest distortion module you'll ever see/hear! distortion PIC Page

Sampler/Looper Users manual: A true 16 bit 44ks/s - 88ks/s MIDI and footswitch controllable Looper/Sampler! Sampler/Looper Page

Power Supply : The (somewhat boring) manual for the +12V/-12V,+8V/+5V/-3V power supply and battery charger system. There is no page for the power supply yet.

MPX-8 Drum Sampler Users manual: A short manual on controlling the MPX-8's new functions via a MIDI hack. MPX-8 Page

Auduino & FX Users manual: Controlling the audio bus and elements via menu and MIDI/MIDI Sequences

SDS On-Tap Sequencer Users Manual: Setting up Songs and Sequences, operation of the SDS On Tap tempo controller/drum machine

Show-In-A-Box Control Users Manual: Fast setup and control of all of the parameters via the LCD menus.
